Herbs have been accumulating rapidly in the garden. I snipped and plucked away until they were smaller in nature, but it's still a forest in there. I may have to open my own business selling herbs at the farmer's market on Saturday's.
Washed and thoroughly pressed dry, they are in the oven getting even drier. I was on wifemamafoodie.com trying to figure out the best way to dry. Not hanging them in bunches (as though we were all in 1740 together) seemed the best approach. Afterwards, I believe I will just squish them with my hands into good sized flakes and bob's your uncle! For the record, and if you want to visit to learn how to dry your own herbs...

The hummingbird feeder has been dry as a bone for a week now. It's sweating away in this pic because I made and later chilled the sugary liquid in the fridge. Don't want anyone to burn their tongue...I've tried all number of bizarre color combinations, but red is their favorite.
