All of the developmental stuff was good, though very harsh at times, and it is oriented around my well known deficiencies. Stuff I have struggled with my entire life.
The unrecognized skills were pretty striking. These data points and comments lived in the area of developing others. Since seeing this on paper, I’m making a concerted effort to spend more time developing others. It is really rewarding. Like volunteering.
In other news, the homeless guy I pass at the highway exit each day is looking more ragged. His sign says he’s starving and in need and he looks like both. I try to mix up the food each day. Today he was eating an apple staring off into the distance. A more cynical person would say he's all strung out - and he might be but who am I to judge...
He is someone’s son. He was once a cuddly baby. We lose our love for people and animals when they grow up and start having issues. It’s breaking my heart a little.
It's a long holiday weekend for some. Enjoy it from wherever you're calling in from.
